This member of staff will provide key assistance to this small but busy team to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the work output.

This role covers a wide variety of tasks as well as general office admin. They play a role in communication between visitors externally and staff internally by responding to general customer enquiries and creating communications to be sent to public and sending internal MEMOs to staff. This role also entails using reporting to review communications and performance and reporting to management.

This member of staff will be enthusiastic, passionate and have excellent communication skills to provide assistance to the Business Development & Marketing Team. This position requires someone who can work efficiently under pressure with good writing skills as they are key to be able to communicate with visitors and third-party companies, they also require a creative brain to bring new and exciting ideas to the team.

This role may develop in time with the view of the future requirements of the Charity and particular importance of focus on fundraising as well as assistance for communication with the Board of Trustees.

  • Experience of working in an office environment

  • Knowledge of design software such as photoshop is desirable

Evaluation

For the first five months of employment, the jobholder will be asked to complete a one month, three month and five month self-assessment. This will gauge their feelings of the job and assess their progress towards meeting targets.
