From 23rd July to 31st August 2025, embark on a wild adventure with the whole family and enjoy daytime activities suitable for children of all ages. Take a trip on the Lost Madagascar Express Road Train and find out more about your favourite species at an Animal Encounter. Don’t forget to pop by the Discovery Den to learn more about animal habitats with the interactive sand table and draw alive wall!

Come face to face with creatures from the past on your journey through Dinosaur Realm and find out more about the prehistoric world at the Palaeontology Hub. Plus, check out the newly refurbished Capuchin Climb habitat, home to the critically endangered buff-headed capuchin and discover more about this incredible species with new interactive games.

Be sure to add the Zoo’s Summer Lates on 9th and 30th August to your diary as the Zoo will be open until 8:00pm so you can explore the wonders of wildlife for even longer at no additional cost!

    • Tickets are for standard admission entry only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotion.
    • Tickets cannot be used for entry into selected Colchester Zoological Society special events, including but not limited to, Trail of Terror, The Santa Experience or Enchanted Trail of Light.
    • Tickets are valid for 3 months from issue date.
    • Tickets will be issued to the winner via email.
    • Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Competition is open to UK residents only, over the age of 18 years old.
    • The ticket prize has no monetary value and will be invalidated if found to be resold.
    • Tickets cannot be extended under any circumstances and will not be reissued if deleted, lost or stolen.
