IMPORTANT INFORMATION – ORANGUTANS
We regret to inform you that it is essential for us to close Rajang’s Forest from 2nd June due to necessary maintenance works.
Back in April 2024, we experienced severe damage to the roof of our indoor orangutan habitat, from a storm which involved winds of up to 50mph. The time has now come to permanently fix the roof of Rajang’s Forest. Unfortunately, this will not be a quick fix and is estimated to take around 6 weeks to complete. Therefore, we regret to inform you that it will not be possible to see our trio of orangutans during this time, to ensure the safety of all visitors.
