Kingdom of the Wild Closure
Please be aware that the pathway leading from the bottom of the Kingdom of the Wild building (next to the current handwashing station) to the upstairs indoor area, will be closed for essential maintenance work. Therefore, there will be no access to the upper viewing area inside the Kingdom of the Wild building including no access to the balcony, views to indoor giraffe stalls, and the Spirit food outlet. The pygmy hippos can be viewed in the lower area of the building along with a few other family favourites, by journeying past Vulture Valley. The giraffes, elephants, rhino, ostrich, crowned crane, kudu and zebra can also still be seen enjoying their outside paddock area. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Iguana Forest Closure
Please be aware that Iguana Forest is currently closed due to essential maintenance works. During this time, the green iguana and yellow-footed tortoise will be off-show. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Jungle Tumble Closure
2nd – 6th February 2026
Please be aware that our indoor soft play area, Jungle Tumble, will be closed from 2nd – 6th February 2026 due to annual maintenance works and a thorough deep clean. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Penguini’s Restaurant Closure
3rd March 2026
Please be aware that Penguini’s Restaurant will be closed on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 due to essential maintenance works. During this time Southern Kitchen will be open next to the Kids Safari Play Area. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Product Recall
Orchard Toys have identified a potential safety issue with their Jungle Heads & Tails with the batch numbers SP/001639/058/17.03.25. It has been identified that a cardboard disc was not removed from the nose of the elephant playing piece in manufacturing. The cardboard disc is a small part and may therefore, present a risk of choking.
Customers who have purchased this product with the affected batch code SP/001639/058/17.03/25 printed on the box flap should visit www.orchardtoys.com/jungleheadsnotice to arrange a replacement, credit voucher or refund. Customers should remove and retain the box flap detailing the batch code and dispose of the product. The box flap detailing the batch code will be required to process your replacement, credit voucher or refund.
The product is no longer available at The Outpost Gift Shop, and a recall notice is now on display. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. Any customers who have further questions regarding the product should contact Orchard Toys directly.
