How do I Gift Aid?
When purchasing your admission tickets online which include a voluntary donation, you can choose to participate in Gift Aid by confirming that you are a UK Taxpayer at checkout. By choosing to participate in Gift Aid, the Charity will receive an extra 25p for every £1 you spend, which will help vital conservation work at no extra cost to you!
If you would like to purchase tickets without making a donation, please select ‘Purchase tickets without a donation’ when making your booking. Please check your eligibility to Gift Aid when purchasing tickets as a gift for someone else.
You can also choose to participate in Gift Aid when purchasing an Annual Zoo Pass or when purchasing tickets on the day in our Ticket Office. Please note that tickets purchased with Tesco Clubcard Vouchers are not eligible for Gift Aid.
Does it cost me to Gift Aid my admission?
As a conservation charity we rely on the support of our members, visitors, and sponsors to help care for wildlife and wild places.
If you are a UK Taxpayer, you are eligible to Gift Aid. You can only Gift Aid your admission if you include a voluntary donation with your admission. Gift Aid does not cost you anything other than a small donation of the standard admission. The extra 25p per £1 spent comes from the UK Government Gift Aid Scheme.
Of course, you are not obliged to donate, you can select to pay admission without a donation but the Charity can only claim Gift Aid on admission which has a voluntary donation included due to eligibility criteria from the Government Gift Aid Scheme.
