Meet Our Sea lions
Sofia
Sofia is a confident 16-year old. She is larger and lighter in colour, and is certainly the noisier of the two, often heard barking from the land whilst soaking up the sunshine. She loves swimming on her back and is enthusiastic about training, picking up new things quickly. Sofia has settled in wonderfully and has made herself right at home.
Cali
Cali is Sofia’s 4 year old daughter. Smaller and darker in colour, she is a little more nervous but is becoming more confident every day. She loves exploring her pool, watching visitors and taking part in training sessions, whilst always keeping an eye on where mum is.
Conservation
Your Animal Adoption helps us to protect animals from across the globe, including our very own nature reserve, UmPhafa, located in South Africa!
