Things are changing down at our Wallaby Walkabout habitat…
Please be aware that our group of red-necked wallabies have been moved to an off show habitat and can no longer be seen at CZS. Being in the latter stages of their lives, the decision was made to retire the group to a quiet location of the Zoo, away from visitor areas.
Our Wallaby Walkabout area is still accessible to visitors and is now home to a new young herd of pygmy goats. This provides a secondary walkthrough experience to our Colenso Village walkthrough, which is currently undergoing redevelopment.
Look out for more exciting changes to the previous ‘Wallaby Walkabout’ coming soon as we continue to develop CZS with the animals and visitors in mind!
