There are two viewing platforms for our Humboldt penguins at Inca Trail, one overlooking their pool area where visitors can watch them swim, and one at their beach area.
The beach viewing area for our Humboldt penguins has been redeveloped to provide further space for our penguins, a new shaded area and improve viewing for visitors.
After being unused for nearly a decade, the old aviary habitat at Inca Trail was transformed by our Maintenance Team into a home suitable for our rock hyrax. Their new habitat included plenty of beams and climbing apparatus for enrichment along with a large viewing window.
