Traffic Notice:
From Monday 12th – Monday 19th January 2026, you may experience traffic and delays around the surrounding area of the Zoo due to planned roadworks and temporary traffic lights on Maldon Road (B1022). Please take this into consideration when planning your journey to and from the Zoo.

ARRIVING AFTER MIDDAY?

We recommend visiting the following areas first as they all close an hour before general zoo close:

Kingdom of the Wild
Elephant Kingdom
The Lost Madagascar Express Road Train

Important Information

All tickets are non-refundable.
E-tickets can be purchased online in advance until 23:59 the day before you wish to visit.
We reserve the right to ask for age verification and photo ID for admission upon entry into the Zoo; this includes under 3 ticket selection.
We are unable to allow admittance to children under the age of 16yrs without a full paying adult or adult passholder.
We will provide a complimentary ticket for a personal assistant to be admitted with a full paying adult / child / senior guest if the need for assistance can be verified.
